Keynote speaker: Fiona Hathorn, Managing Director of WOB UK

The second Women in Vision UK meeting was at the magnificent Victoria Gallery and Museum at Liverpool University on the 14th of December. Over 60 women (and men!) gathered to enjoy fantastic talks, ranging from basic science and clinical trials to how to get more Women on Boards (with a keynote from Fiona Hathorn, Managing Director of WOB UK).

We had great posters and presentations from Early Career Researchers with 4 prize winners:

Each received a £150 prize, kindly sponsored by the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre at Moorfields Eye Hospital and the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology.
