How To Join

Select the membership option suitable for you, you will then be asked to for a small membership fee, charged yearly, which will be used to cover costs for events and resources.

Frequently asked questions

What information do I need to provide to join?

  • During sign-up, we collect your email and postal address.
  • After your payment has been processed, we will email you in order to collect more information about your interests and career. We use this to understand who has signed up for Women in Vision UK, and to tailor our events accordingly.

How can I pay?

  • You can pay via credit or debit card, which is processed via a secure payments provider, Stripe.
  • Your membership will automatically renew each year.
  • By contracting our secretary, you can cancel the renewal your membership at any time.

What is an early-career member?

  • An early-career member is defined as someone who has worked in ophthalmology or vision science for less than 5 years.
  • Students, Trainees and Early Career Researchers (up to post-doctoral level)
