Research Statement 

The WVUK Research Committee is dedicated to the advancement of the voices and impact of women in vision and eye research, by fostering research excellence, research leadership, and research collaborations.

We strive to inspire, mentor and connect WVUK researchers working in and around basic research to clinical practice through grants, mentorship and exchange of scientific expertise.

Education Statement

The WVUK education group aims to celebrate and develop women’s roles as ophthalmic educators, and promote equal opportunities for engagement in ophthalmic education.

Early Career Statement

To continue to empower female early career researchers and to facilitate skill development and networking opportunities for women beginning their journey into vision-related careers.
